This glossary defines the terms used throughout AtlasDeFi trading, Vault, staking and Stars documentation.
Trading Terms
| Term | Meaning |
|---|
| Collateral | Supported stablecoin value committed to a perpetual position. |
| Position size | Collateral multiplied by leverage. |
| Long / Short | Directional exposure to a market moving up or down. |
| Entry price | Price used when a position is executed. |
| Liquidation price | Threshold where the protocol can automatically close the position. |
| Price PnL | Profit or loss caused by the move between entry and close price. |
| Borrow fee | Time-based fee paid by open positions and settled into the Vault. |
| Pending payout | State after close/liquidation before final Vault settlement pays the result. |
Vault Terms
| Term | Meaning |

| Vault | Shared stablecoin liquidity pool used by Atlas trading. |
| LP token / LP share | Tokenized share of Vault ownership. |
| Reserved liquidity | Vault liquidity currently committed to back open positions. |
| LP token price | Total Vault liquidity divided by total LP token supply. |
Staking & Stars Terms
| Term | Meaning |
|---|
| Maturation | Age period a stake must pass before protocol reward eligibility changes. |
| Unstake burn | ATLAS permanently removed when a stake exits, based on its age tier. |
| In orbit Stars | Eligible Stars activity recorded and waiting for review. |
| Confirmed Stars | Stars that completed the program review cycle. |
