How Atlas Works
AtlasDeFi is a Cardano-native perpetual DEX. Traders post on-chain orders, positions use supported stablecoin collateral, and a shared Vault provides the liquidity that backs trading activity.
Core Architecture
Atlas uses Cardano’s UTxO model and smart-contract validation for order and settlement flows. A user action can move through wallet signing, on-chain inclusion, indexing, execution and final settlement as separate stages.
- Wallets create and sign transactions.
- On-chain order outputs represent pending actions.
- Execution services process eligible orders.
- Smart contracts validate prices, limits and accounting before state changes are accepted.
Trading and the Vault
The Vault is the shared liquidity pool behind the trading system. When positions are open, part of the pool can be reserved to back trader exposure. Borrow fees settle into the Vault, while profitable trader payouts reduce Vault liquidity.
Pricing and Risk Controls
Position entry, liquidation and trigger actions depend on protocol pricing and risk checks. The interface shows estimates before signing, but final on-chain execution remains subject to the current market, network and validator constraints.
Why Transactions Can Be Pending
Submitting a wallet transaction does not mean every follow-up step is complete. Orders may remain pending while they wait for chain confirmation, indexing, execution or Vault settlement. The app separates these states so users can distinguish an unsigned order from an on-chain order awaiting processing.
