ATLAS Tokenomics

Within the AtlasDeFi product, ATLAS is used in the staking system and is also an active route in the Atlas Stars program. These utilities are separate from perpetual collateral and Vault LP accounting.

Staking Utility

ATLAS can be locked in independent on-chain stake positions. Mature positions can become eligible for configured protocol-revenue rewards, and exiting a position applies an age-based burn.

Burn Mechanics

The unstaking burn permanently removes a percentage of the exiting position. Mainnet currently documents 10%, 1% and 0.2% tiers based on stake age.

Atlas Stars Utility

Active ATLAS staking is also a Season 1 Atlas Stars route. Current Stars accounting awards participation points based on active staked amount and duration, with its own wallet cap and review process.
