Take-Profit & Stop-Loss
Take-profit and stop-loss levels let you define automatic exit conditions for an open perpetual position. They are risk-management tools, not guarantees of an exact final execution price.
Take-Profit
A take-profit trigger is intended to close the position when price reaches the configured favorable target. The trigger still follows the protocol’s execution and settlement path.
Stop-Loss
A stop-loss trigger is intended to close the position when price reaches the configured adverse threshold, helping cap further exposure before liquidation.
How Triggers Settle
When a TP/SL condition becomes executable, Atlas processes the close path, fixes the position result and completes Vault settlement. Trigger orders can require ADA reserves for their on-chain outputs; review the wallet transaction before signing.
