Getting Started with Trading
This guide covers the path from wallet connection to your first AtlasDeFi perpetual position. Product limits vary by network and market, so always use the values shown in the live trading interface.
Prerequisites
- A CIP-30 compatible Cardano wallet such as Eternl or Lace.
- A supported stablecoin for the selected market.
- Enough ADA for Cardano transaction costs, Atlas order requirements and Plutus collateral where required.
Open Your First Trade
- Open the Perpetuals page and connect your wallet.
- Choose the market and select Long or Short.
- Enter the supported stablecoin collateral you want to risk.
- Select leverage within the current market limit.
- Review entry price, liquidation estimate, fees and slippage.
- Sign and submit the transaction in your wallet.
After Submission
Wallet signing, chain inclusion, indexing and execution are separate stages. Your position appears as active after the order has been observed and executed. If another UTxO-based transaction is still settling, the spendable balance can temporarily differ from the total balance shown by the wallet.
